An outdoor dining terrace for 90 covers, surrounded by a windbreak structure for the restaurant site at Peninsula Square, commissioned by the developer. As well as providing privacy and enclosure for customers, the bespoke 30-metre arced metal structure of square geometric panels acts a sculptural place-making statement for the public realm, and a landmark gateway and signpost to the ‘Design District’ area. Informal dining furniture offering varied seating inhabits the defined space, which is interspersed by bountiful Italianate planting.
