This ground-floor extension reorganises the rear of a Victorian house into a calm, light-filled kitchen and dining space. The addition is a simple rectangular volume clad in pale mosaic tiles, with large picture windows opening the interior to the garden. A long island beneath a full-width rooflight structures the plan, while full-height storage keeps the space orderly. Externally, dark timber decking and existing planting provide a restrained counterpoint to the clean new envelope.
