The entrance lobby and reception area of the British Council’s UK headquarters, which also includes a gallery space for hosting events and temporary exhibitions, is framed by a striking zinc entrance portal. The main reception desk is formed from precision-crafted brass segments and serves as the focus and welcome point for offices and events. Pivoting display walls and adaptable ceiling lighting provide flexibility for gallery use, so the space can be divided and defined as required for specific exhibitions.
