This project upgrades and extends a former Haywards pickle factory building, reshaping it to maximise space for solar panels and to create a master suite and rooftop entertaining area. The new envelope is clad in black VM-Zinc with galvanised steel detailing, giving the building a refined industrial character. Alongside the top-floor terrace, we introduced a small biodiversity zone with custom bird boxes and wildflower planting, adding ecological value to the redesigned home.
