Over 20 design studios including Emulsion were invited by Vitra to customise the classic Tom Vac chair by Ron Arad, to celebrate its 15th birthday.
ABOUT:
From the brief ‘to explore both novelty and memory in design, art and architecture’ evolved our creation: “Fathom It!”, an industrial sea-creature who happily inhabits the space of the chair with its pipework insulation and shiny copper tubes.

An exhibition of all the chairs is on at Vitra’s Clerkenwell Road showroom for CDW2014.
