After a busy week of London Design Festival activities, we rounded off the week with our coffee morning on Friday 23 September.
We were joined by friends old & new from various creative backgrounds including furniture, print, graphics, jewellery, music and architecture, for lively conversation on the theme of “Inspired by Japan”.
Topics included hand-made vs. machine-made, Minka houses, impermanence vs. heritage in architecture, textile techniques, and useless inventions.
Thank you to Creative Clerkenwell for your support, and to Prufrock on Leather Lane for having us. And of course a huge thanks to everyone who made the effort to come along so early! – it was great fun and we look forward to the next one.
